Tofurky is looking for an IT Manager to join our team. The Information Technology Manager is responsible for the overall planning, organization, and execution of all IT functions at Tofurky. This includes the management of the information technology department and the development and implementation of the overall IT strategy
What you’ll do: The IT manager will work closely with decision makers in other departments to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions for all aspects of the organization. In this keystone role you will be responsible for the management of all IT activities in the organization and implementation and maintenance of the policies and goals for the IT department to support the company's needs. You’ll ensure proper information system operations, oversee the internal IT support function and manage the organization's technology vendor management program. You use your skills to lead, design and implement special projects to support data warehouse systems and new applications to enable business success. In addition, you will be responsible for the financial management, budget preparation, and forecasting budgetary needs for the organization. Responsibilities include:
Provide effective, customer-oriented IT support and training to the user community onsite, in office and manufacturing environments, and those working remotely.
- Manage deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support activities of all IT systems, including servers, data storage, workstations, network devices, printers, telecommunications, associated peripherals, and associated software.
- Work with stakeholders to define technical business and system requirements for new technology implementations.
- Manages the organization's strategic technology vendor management program to meet company needs and comply with required quality standards. Negotiates service level agreements to ensure performance/quality metrics, responsibilities, expectations, and penalties are clearly defined. Conducts regular business reviews to ensure compliance with company expectations, review issues, and develop solutions.
- Manages the operations of the IT asset and inventory management function. Manages the maintenance of records and databases containing information regarding licenses, warranties, and service agreements for the organization's hardware and software.
- Manage financial aspects of the IT department including purchasing, budgeting, budget review, IT vendor contracts and service agreements.
- Hardware and Network support and maintenance - The role ensures network wiring and hardware performs at optimum levels. Performs system testing and upgrades at determined intervals. Develops hardware and network documentation. Hardware and Network includes server room environment including modem, router, switches, firewall, environmental monitors.
- Software support and maintenance - Evaluates productivity, administrative and infrastructure software upgrades and new programs for integration and use by company staff.
- Manage PLEX cloud-based ERP; optimize existing implementation and support implementation of additional features; keep current with Plex technologies through continued training and education.
- Practice license and asset management for IT hardware, software, and equipment.
- Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices and ensure that the organization's IT systems are secure, and that all data is protected.
- Provide after-hours maintenance and support on both a scheduled and on-call basis, coordinating third-party provided support when appropriate.
- Evaluates job position hardware and software needs. Works with hiring manager to determine requirements for new/replacement positions.
- Lives, coaches, and follows the company’s guiding principles.

- What skills and education you’ll need:
- 6-8 years of IT desktop/helpdesk/end user support experience, preferably in manufacturing environment supporting handheld computers and printers, or qualifying education, training, and/or professional experience in Information Technology or related field.
- 5 years of Microsoft Windows/Apple Mac desktop, and laptop configuration and support experience
- System and Network Administration experience; installation and maintenance of Windows Client and Server OS, Active Directory, Group Policy, File/Print Management, Networking, Virtualization, Exchange, and Office 365 Administration.
- Administration and use of O365 toolset (Word, Excel, SharePoint, Outlook, etc.)
- Working knowledge of manufacturing ERP/MRP/WMS Software.
- ERP configuration and support of industry standard ERP systems (PLEX, SAP, MS Dynamics, etc.)
- Process improvement, policy development, and managing projects and relationships with third party goods and service providers.
- Microsoft Windows server administration and support experience (Windows Active Directory, Fileshare, etc.).
- Experience managing IT budgets, vendor relationships, and people management.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- ERP and CRM Administration preferred. Experience with Plex Systems a plus.
- IT experience in a food or beverage manufacturing environment a plus.
- Administration of Dropbox a plus
- Bilingual English/Spanish speaking a plus
